How To Replace Your Gates Belt

The durability of a titanium frame matches perfectly with the Gates Carbon Drive belt. That’s why we develop frames that are dedicated to the combination of Pinion and Gates. Are you not completely convinced by the stories that talk about a titanium bike with Pinion and Gates being indestructible, then take a look at out friends of Heart To Beat, who rode over 30.000 km on their Pilot Vamosses. 

In order to equip the belt to the bike, we (or you) have to open the frame. So we made a little opening in the right seat stay. If we didn’t tell you, you would probably not even see it was there in the first place!

So when the time finally comes that you need to replace the Gates belt, just take out the wheel with a 6mm hex key. Open the frame with a 4mm hex key, et voila!  You can easily take out the old belt and replace it for a new one.
