The DURO is the perfect bike for marathons or multi-day trekking adventures in which you do not want to worry about maintenance or wear parts. The Pilot Duro is a very comfortable bike where efficiency remains important. Small shocks and sharp edges will efficiently be filtered and absorbed by the titanium frame. Yet you will feel the urge to move forward on this bike.

The stiffness, both around the bottom bracket and around head tube, is completely on point. Push on the pedals and the DURO reacts and gets fast at speed. The steering behavior is quick and tight without becoming nervous. Because the Pinion gearbox is positioned centrally and low therefore the weight distribution is sublime. In contrast to, for example, a Rohloff that has its weight mainly in the rear wheel. You will notice during even the steepest climbs that there is a lot of pressure on the front so that your front wheel does not immediately prance.

Downhill the Duro will give you a lot of confidence. It is a stable bike that is not easily disturbed.
